Logan Lake

Since 1871 mining has taken place in the Highland Valley. The town of Logan Lake was planned and developed in 1970 in order to accommodate those working in the mines.

Situated in a pristine natural landscape of mountains, lakes and forests, Logan Lake is an excellent starting point for fisherman, hunters and backcountry explorers.

The Logan Lake area offers over 30 accessible lakes in the area teeming with fish. Many lakes offer camping areas, and some of the larger lakes have commercial fishing resorts which offer cabin and boat rentals.

For golfers there is a 9 hole golf course, and for competative sports enthusiasts the area offers ball diamonds, tennis courts, soccer fields, curling rink, seasonal swimming pool, and ice arena.

During the winter months visit Logan Lake for over 30km of excellent cross-country ski trails. Access to crown lands for snowmobiling can be done at Tunkwa Lake Rd.
